Quarterfinals of the National Cup are the reward for IBB Polonia London

Yet another victory was the result of a match at the Brentford Fountain Leisure Centre on Saturday, 10th November 2018. The encounter was against local rivals Onyx London. In the end, the home team were the victors 3:1 (22:25, 25:22, 25:10, 25:15) and earned themselves a place in the quarter finals of the National Cup.

„I continue to be pleased with what I see in the team as we continue our unbeaten run. The match ended in a victory and it is great to progress to the next round of the Cup. We are in the quarter finals, we showed our power and determination of our squad. It shows that we are not resting on our laurels. We all will continue to work hard to attain all of our aims this season. We know we can win the Super League title as well as the National Cup. Our fans know this too and they continue to attend in large numbers and cheer us on. The quarter final takes place on 26th January 2019, when Simon Loftus’s players will take on Essex once again, who recently eliminated Cambridge and Anglia Ruskin University from the event. The prize will be a place in the Semi Final.

In the meantime, the Londoners play in the Super League once again on Sunday, 18th November 2019 at home against TeamBU Wessex. The game starts at 4.30pm at the Brentford Fountain Leisure Centre. More details are available here. Fans will be assured of a great spectacle once again.
