Australian player joins IBB Polonia London
We are delighted to inform that another reinforcement at the position of setter is confirmed. Australian player with international experience – Nicholas Butler has joined IBB Polonia London for the upcoming season. He has just finished 2021 Asian Men’s Volleyball Championship and is coming to Bełchatów soon.
The twenty-forth year old setter has recently been playing in France and Germany. Butler is an Australia National Team player and has international experience. He has been representing his country in multiple top level competitions. He participated in VNL 2021.
We are very happy with our cooperation and wish Nicholas all the best of luck!

“I decided to join IBB Polonia London, because playing CEV Champions League is the pinnacle of club volleyball in Europe and is an opportunity for anyone who plays volleyball in Europe” Said Nicholas Butler.
“I am happy to travel to Poland after the championship in Asia. The result there wasn’t what we wanted for National Team but we made the goal to come back better next year and play well at VNL 2022, which would influence how all of us would play in club season to come back better for next season. We all want to place better at VNL 2022 to put Australian volleyball on the map” – added Butler.

Popularise of the development of volleyball in England
Promote the sporting union between Poland and England on the basis of longstanding historical and cultural conditions – to which we can now add sporting ones as well.
