– We made another step towards the defence of our title. It wasn’t the easiest of games. The Welsh team had excellent outside hitters, who scored many points. The spectators really gave them even more encouragement to hit harder. The first two sets were very even, but the next two were significantly easier. In Cup games, there is no margin for errors. Thanks to a total commitment, we managed to win in four sets, despite everything the opposition threw at us. – commented Coach Piotr Graban.
The game in Cardiff drew in many supporters. There were fans cheering for both teams. The organisers of the match made sure it was a spectacle for everyone and the atmosphere was excellent.

The lead the home team got in the first set and then the subsequent three sets was what makes volleyball so exciting. We had more to offer, but in the end, we are pleased with the result.
