London IBB Polonia victory with Wessex M1

The Halloween evening was a happy one for the London IBB Polonia players. Vangelis Koutouleas’s charges won with Wessex M1 thank to which they secured the third place in the Super 8 league table.

IBB Polonia players are not slowing down. They won yet another, third, game. The West London team’s rivals were Wessex M1 of Bournemouth.

The game started with the surprising lead of the guest team who took advantage of the Koutouleas team’s mistakes. IBB Polonia players did not give up the court to their rivals without a battle and fought very closely at the end of the set. The subsequent stages of the match were equally fierce and full of emotions.

“Both of the teams created a wonderful event – huge congratulations go to our rivals amongst whom were many young players. Their positive attitude results from the last three years co-operation with our current coach – Vangelis Koutouleas. We are really pleased with the three points win especially that we are still not playing on a high level that we anticipate to reach later in the season. I would like to take the opportunity to thank the supporters who, as always, were the key to our victory”, said Bartek Luszcz, IBB Polonia chairman.

In the next game London IBB Polonia play Leeds Volleyball Club. The match takes place on Saturday, November 7^th. Start at 3pm.
