Pro Volley players selected for Cornacchia World Cup

Pro Volley students have been attending training camps at the National Volleyball Centre, hosted by the England National Team; six male athletes have managed to gain places in the large squads and one female athlete.

In April, Volleyball England is attending a youth competition – Cornacchia World Cup – in Italy and it will be attended by twelve selected players from either gender. With great pride we can announce that three Pro Volley Academy male players and one female player have been selected for the two squads of twelve. We would like to congratulate the selected players and wish them lots of luck in the upcoming weeks.

We are proud of all of our players that are attending Kettering sessions; they have earned their places there and deserve the praise that comes with the status. Hard work has rewarded them!

Recruitment for the next year is well underway, and the aim is to increase the standard of sport and competition amongst its players. Boys and girls who are seeking free sixth form education and an improvement in their volleyball standard are encouraged to apply.
