Spectacular match by IBB Polonia London

The most recent match for IBB Polonia London was against Team BU Wessex. The Londoners never gave the visitors a chance dispatching then swiftly on Sunday, 18th November 2018. The match was over swiftly, with the home team dominating from the start 3:0 (25:18, 25:18, 25:14) .The emphatic win gave three more vital points to the league table total and extended the unbeaten run to six.

„This has been the best performance since the start of the season. From the very first ball, we felt comfortable on court and didn’t allow the opponents to get into rhythm. This allowed us to dictate the flow of the game. We were very focussed throughout the game and the entire squad perfumed very well. The best player turned out to be Andrea Ivanov.” commented Dominik Zmuda, the second assistant coach for IBB Polonia London.

The significant margin of points in each of the three sets gave IBB Polonia London confidence and encouraged them as they turn their attention to the next match against our local rivals Malory Eagles.

The next game takes place in the home venue on Saturday, 24th November at Brentford Fountain Leisure Centre. The game starts at 4.30pm and fans of volleyball will be able to watch live in the sports halls as usual, with tickets available here or online.
