Victory of IBB Polonia over Sheffield Hallam
A series of victories for IBB Polonia continues. The volleyball players from London club won the tenth meeting of the League, which means they have been unbeaten since the beginnig of the season 2015/2016 of Super 8 league.
This time the superiority of IBB Polonia had to be recognized by the team from Sheffield Hallam. Mentees of the coach Vangelis Koutouleas won the match 3-0 (25-23, 25-22, 25-17). The meeting was held in the Brentford Fountain Leisure Centre in West London.
– We are saving the set of points on our account and playing on. – says Vangelis Koutouleas. – In the regular season Super 8 league we are still expecting some important meetings. The earned advantage in the table and won matches do not change anything in our preparations. We do not succumb to euphoria but keep the pace, all the time just to stick to the set course.
The IBB Polonia team was supported by their Fan Club. Sponsors cooperating with the team prepared prizes for the spectators.
– We are trying to make our games attractive not only in terms of sports. – says the chairman of IBB Polonia Bartek Łuszcz. – We desire to make a visit to our hall a nice event for the whole family, permanently inscribed in the weekend plans. We are happy with the support of Fan Club, which accompanies us also on away games, but we as well invite everyone who likes volleyball and wishing to cheer our team!
IBB Polonia is having their naxt league meeting ahead, also in their own court, with London Lynx. The match will take place on Saturday, February 13th. Beginning at 15.00.
